Description
Nationwide Engineering Plans was the prime consultant providing civil engineering services for this maintenance hole rehabilitation project in Portland, OR. The maintenance hole, located in a sensitive natural area on the Reed College campus adjacent to Crystal Springs, had eroded resulting in water discharge from the bottom. After several failed sealing attempts, the team designed to plug, line, and abandon the existing hole and construct a new hole outside the natural area, including temporary sewer bypass, complex permitting, and construction support.
